What I Learned
Each must determine if he or shee is willing to give up something of lesser value to obtain something of infinite value whether to pay the price to "inherit eternal life." Although it is hard to imagine at the time of our sacrifice, we receive, in the giving, something of far greater worth in its place.
Heaven is a real place. Heaven or the Celestial Kingdom is seen as a real place which exists in time and space. It consists of gigantic stars, (Kolob plus others) at the center, each radiating with great energy and power. The center is surrounded by millions of sanctified worlds and planets, as well as new worlds in embryo. "All the spirit is matter," tangible matter, which is exceedingly "fine or pure" (D&C 131:7). While we are in mortality we cannot see spiritual matter, but if God touches our eyes we can. We reject the idea that Heaven is ethereal, cloud-like, unfathomable and unknowable; but it can be described with terms which are concrete, realistic and understandable. Things on earth are patterned after, or even descended from, heavenly originals, and we can understand heaven in part of studying this earth. God himself lives in a real place composed of actual materials on a crystal sphere-a great Urim and Thummim. The Celestrial Kingdom is located in the hub, or central region of the Milky Way Galaxy with God's throne. -The Kolob Theorem (a mormon's view of God's starry universe)
