July 12, 2011: When God brought before us His plan of Salvation, Jesus was there, volunteering meekly and humbly, "Here am I, send me." (Abraham 3:27) saying, "Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever." (Moses 4:2). The Father, ever anxious that all be free to choose, even gave Lucifer opportunity to campaign.

July 13, 2011: Our agency is preserved...by the fact that as we approach a given moment we do not know what our response will be. Meanwhile, God has foreseen what we will do and has taken our decision into account (in composite with all others), so that His purposes are not frustrated.

July 14, 2011: As to the question asked-even by faithful Saints-such as, "If what is going to happen is 'all set,' why pray?"The answer is that God foresees, but He does not compromise our agency. All the outcomes are not, for our purposes, "all set." True, God foreseeing includes our prayers, our fasting, our faith, and the results that will therby be achieved. But until our mortal actions occur and our decisions are made, things are not "all set."
